I’m based in the gorgeous City of Chester, Cheshire, UK. I’m lucky enough to work with creative individuals around the world, either directly or under the ‘umbrella’ of other designers, helping them custom build and design blogs and websites that work perfectly for their small business, visitors and search engines.
I work primarily with artists, craftspeople, authors, coaches and small business owners to help them create their small business websites. I also provide business & marketing consultation, practical technical support and a variety of virtual tutorials and web design courses.
In that rare space of ‘spare time’ I’m busy creating art in a variety of mediums, or extracting my finest artist paint brushes from the creative clutches of my artistic kids!
Juggling Work Life Balance From Your Home Office
If, like me, you’re a busy Mum working from your home office, juggling the plates of work life balance, remember that achieving your individual successes doesn’t have to be a solo journey.
Here are some support suggestions that have helped me on my journey so far:
- support from kids/family/friends
- realistic clear personal and business goals
- planned ‘working’ and ‘life’ hours
- personal support/business coach (as needed)
- networking with like minded women (great for Mums)
- obtaining trusted male logic (yes, that’s me saying that)!
- taking action (one step forward each day is better than none)
You’ll also need a good dose of inspiration, passion, relaxation, dedication, resilience, a thick skin from time to time, the capacity to learn, definitely a good sense of humour and the willingness to roll up your sleeves and put in some really hard work!
